Hexagel is a cleansing chlorhexidine-based gel for dogs and cats.
The product can be used directly on the skin or in the mouth. The antimicrobial gel cleanses the gingival pockets and reduces plaque formation. The product can be used during and after dental scaling, as well as after oral surgery.
The gel can also be used to cleanse sensitive, irritated, or dirty skin. The gel must not be used on large open wounds, as it may prevent the wounds from healing.

Use in the mouth: apply directly to the teeth and gums 1–2 times a day, or apply Hexagel to a dental tie and spread it over the teeth and gums. Can be used during and after dental scaling. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions. If the oral gel is used continuously for a long period, it may cause the teeth to darken. The discoloration will disappear during dental scaling performed by a veterinarian.
Remember that the best way to prevent plaque formation and its development into tartar is to care for your pet's teeth regularly by brushing them daily and taking your pet regularly to the veterinarian for dental scaling.
